Anawangin, Zambales Trip

Me and my Ex-office Workers / Friendships (yey! ^ u ^ v)  had a trip last March 22, 2015, and to tell you the truth, I missed that trip so much. I mean, there's neither wifi nor electricity on the Anawangin Island but that's the reason why it's so popular going there on peak or non-peak seasons.

First of course, the day of going there started with a "selfie". We left the condo of my friends' condo around 3am and met at the meeting place (around our office building). It was a 5-6 hours trip depending on what vehicle you would use, we used a van.

The feeling of bonding with your drunk and non-drunk friends while on the road trip are scenes to be remembered, there's this part where one of my guy-friends started spurting out "Yung gitara hindi nakalimutan pero ung bag ko nakalimutan! Bro, yung brief ko nandun, WALA AKONG SUSUOTIN! Makalimutan na lahat, wag lang ang brief ko!" (He didn't forget the guitar but he forgot to pick up my bag! Bro, my briefs are in there, I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO WEAR! Forget everything but not my briefs!) lol.
After chattering and singing for a bit, we took a nap while driving towards our destination. After around 3-4 hours, we took a breakfast - toilet break around Pampanga (I think), after an hour or 2, we arrived at the city. Our budget is 1,400php /per head and we we 12pax excluding the 2 drivers from the agency. The payment for the touring agency is around 600 /per head so we had so much extra money, so upon arriving at the public market, we bought some meats(pork and beef), coffees, dining utilities, drinks, beers and liquors, charcoals, seafoods (squids), and other stuffs that I forgot to mention (because I'm too fab to remember HO HO HO ~).

So we finally arrived, it was around 9am turning 10am that time. IT WAS FREAKING HOT! (remember to apply sunblock guys! ) We waited for the boat to arrive so that we could go to the Island. They had provided us with the giant cooler, pans, knife (that can't even slice a vegetable), and chopping board.
Us waiting for our ride.

RORORORORORORORORORO~

After we arrive on the island, we searched for our spot for our turf own (tents lol), we crossed the river near to the mini forest on the island and found a quiet spot there with not so may bugs nor flies. Us girls searched for twigs, rocks and mini woods for us to cook our food while the guys assemble and cook for us because they lost our bets.

Some of us already trying to prepare the ingredients for the other guys to cook, kt was noon at the time so we were soooo hungry, there are cooks on the beach side but it would cost us around 200php-300php per side dish, so we chose to this by ourselves.
Others were putting up our castle of haven (tent), so that we wouldn't be troubled by night by just assembling the tent when we could be singing, drinking and eating at the bonfire that we will be building by nighttime comes.

Le me will be changing to my ... hihi :">

After we had our lunch and prepared the snacks for the afternoon and dinner for the night, the guys tried to hike the near mountain at the beach side, by the way there are 4 spots (I think) to explore there, the first one is the mountain where the guys hiked, the beach side where us 3 girls swam, the Cove the right side where we didn't go because we were lazy but there are other tourist there that explored the cove and dived after, the last one as the mini forest near our turf.

Them guys taking a "selfie" at the mountain trail.

From Mountain's POV [left] Seaside, [middle] River ,[right] Forest, at the end of the trail on the other side of the beach is where the cove is.
Mini Forest. hohoho <3
After that, we swam and played on the beach and just plain relaxed.

My back looks so fab and skinny.

It was an experience to be utterly remembered, but maybe next time I'll bring extra batteries, my camera died after the sunset so I didn't had the chance to capture the bonfire, the sing-a-longs, the heart warming convos, and the truth or dares, but I can tell you a wee bit of it. One of the guys lost the chugging bet and ordered to go to the river side and scream his question to the one who broke his heart, he shouted "HANNAH! WHYYYYY?!" then he passed out after he had gotten near his tent. :)

Hope you can visit this wonderful place, before we returned to the main island, the driver of the boat asked us if we want to visit the private island where no vendors nor campers are around and we excitedly said yes. The sea there were clear blue, lots of corals and fishes too, it was just...AMAZING. <3

We ended our trip with a good memory, lots of enjoyment and a get-a-way we won't forget. :) <3 Happy tripping if you will go here because it's truly affordable, relaxing and fun. <3 :D
